ILLUSTRATOR MONDAY ☆ CARLA INDIPENDENTE

E' di nuovo lunedì... quindi anche oggi condivido con voi una nuova scoperta nel mondo magico dell' illustrazione!
Lei si chiama Carla, tutti noi qui in Puglia la conosciamo però come Carla Indipendente ( dico noi perché oggi vi parlo di un talento che ho conosciuto personalmente!).
La sua arte è irriverente e molto molto personale, ti porta lontano con la fantasia attraverso i giochi di sguardi dei suoi personaggi, amici veri o immaginari ma sempre molto comunicativi... ritratti essenziali che vengono da popoli lontani ma vicini a noi nell'anima.
Sa giocare con il colore in assoluta libertà ed ogni sua opera rivela un universo infinito di creatività!
Ma voglio lasciare che sia lei a parlare un po' di sé :-)

It's Monday again... so today I share with you a new discovery in the magical world of' illustration!
Her name is Carla, but all of us here in Puglia we know her as Carla Independent (I say we because today I speak of a talent that I knew personally!).
Her art is irreverent and very very personal, takes you away with the imagination through games of glances with her characters, real or imaginary friends but always very communicative... portraits essential that come from distant peoples in the world but close to us in the soul .
She can play with the color in a complete and absolute freedom and all her works reveals a universe of infinite creativity!
But let her speak about herself :-)
1. Quando ti sei avvicinata al mondo dell' illustrazione?
Non ricordo di preciso, è stata un’evoluzione. Ho
sempre disegnato, sin da piccola e poi ho scoperto che si poteva parlare
disegnando.
2. Cosa ti piace di più del tuo lavoro?
Il fatto di viaggiare con la mente verso il paese dell’immaginazione.
3. Quali sono le tre parole che meglio descrivono i tuoi lavori?
Illustrazioni sempre sincere.
4. Puoi descriverci la tua giornata tipo?
Non ho una giornata tipo. L’unica costante della mia giornata è il caffè della mattina, appena sveglia, poi ci sono giornate in cui disegno tutto il tempo, giornate in cui penso tutto il tempo a cosa disegnare, giornate in cui creo i miei bijoux e poi ci sono giornate in cui faccio tutte queste cose.
5. Come hai sistemato la tua zona di lavoro?
Ho una scrivania accanto ad una finestra. La scrivania è un crocevia di mezzi con i quali mi esprimo: matite colorate, pennelli, colori acrilici, acquerelli, quaderni per schizzi, computer, libri, giornali, etc..
6. Pensi un illustratore abbia bisogno di uno stile personale? e quali sono i tuoi suggerimenti per svilupparne uno?
A prescindere dal bisogno, penso che lo stile personale vien da sé, esso sboccia inevitabilmente, senza cercarlo, l’importante è rimanere se stessi e disegnare, disegnare, disegnare e disegnare.

1. How did you get into illustration?
I do not remember exactly, it has been a normal evolution. I've always drawn as a child and then I discovered that you can talk drawing.
2. What do you enjoy most about your job?
The fact that we travel with the mind to the land of imagination.
3. What are the tree words that describe your work?
Illustrations always true.
4. Can you describe on of your typical day?
I do not have a typical day. The one constant of my day is the morning coffee, as soon as I wake up, then there are days when I draw all the time, days when I think all the time to what to draw, days when I create my jewelry and then there are days when I do all these things.
5. What is your working environment like?
I have a desk next to a window. The desk is a crossroads of the means by which I express: colored pencils, brushes, acrylics, watercolors, sketchbooks, computer, books, newspapers, etc ..
6. Do you think an illustrator needs a style? and what are your tips on developing an illustration style?
Whatever the need, I think personal style comes by itself, it inevitably blooms, without looking for it, the important thing is to remain themselves and draw, draw, draw and draw.

Sono in ritardassimo con delle consegne e sono già 2 weekend che non mollo la mia scrivania... quindi non dovrei essere qui ma appena vedo fiori e bouquet lo sapete non resisto e la mia testa comincia a divagare sognando... ho deciso perciò di prendermi una pausa, vado a farmi una tisana e ad annusare un po' di primavera virtuale ;-) venite anche voi?
I'm late with some works deliveries and are already two weekends that I don't give up my desk... I really should not be here but you know every time I see flowers and bouquet images my head starts to ramble dreaming and I can't resist... so I decided to take a break, I go to make me a tea smelling a little virtual spring

Un po' di tempo fa vi ho mostrato una casa fotografata da Hans Mossel in questo post, ve lo ricordate?
Oggi invece proprio non riuscivo a scegliere quale casa mostrarvi (in ognuna di esse c'è qualche dettaglio che volevo condividere e conservare qui sul Blog) e allora ho pensato di darvi piccole anteprime di questi 3 bellissimi appartamenti... così' magari vi stuzzico la voglia di andare a guardare per intero i suoi reportage curiosando nel suo portfolio online che trovate QUI !!!

But today I just couldn't choose which house show (in each of them there are some details that I wanted to share here on the blog) and then I thought I'd give you small previews of these 3 beautiful apartments... so maybe I let you with the desire to visit for entire all the 3 reportages snooping in his portfolio you can find HERE !!!

Garden in Black

La verità è che il Nero noi in Giardino non lo abbiamo mai considerato... ma mi sembra d'obbligo dedicare un post a questo colore pieno di personalità che (guarda caso insieme al Bianco) è un must del trend Nordico che tanto ci piace, vero?
Ammetto che dopo aver esaminato nei dettagli le immagini che vi mostro oggi ho anche rivalutato l'effetto finale dell'associazione Nero+sfumature del Verde!
Lo ammetto, mi piace veramente tanto... e voi che dite? Vi piace questa palette colori?
Sono davvero curiosa di saperlo :-)
The truth is that we never considered this color in our garden projects... but it seems obligatory dedicate a post to this color full of personality that is, coincidentally along with the White color, a must in the nordic design palette that we love so much, right?
I admit that after examining in detail the images that I show you today I have also re-evaluated the final effect of the association Black+shades of green!
Yes I like it very much... and what about you? Do you like this color palette?
